Flat sanding machine is a device suitable for cleaning, removing hair, and leveling and polishing large surfaces of machinery, building decoration, furniture paint, and other materials.
It is mainly composed of stator, rotor, fan, base plate, feet, power switch, casing, etc.
The rotor of the electric motor drives the fan, which swings due to the eccentricity of the fan, and sandpaper (or sandcloth) with corundum or other abrasives is installed on the flat plate to sand the surface of wood, metal materials, etc
1. The sanding machine used for trimming is usually only used to grind off trace amounts of workpiece surfaces. Its purpose is to refine the surface of the workpiece, and the quality of the grinding depends on the pressure, but do not apply excessive force to the sanding machine for grinding. Unnecessary excessive force will only quickly damage the sandpaper and shorten the service life of the sanding machine.
2. Do not use the sanding machine without sandpaper installed, as it will seriously damage the grinding disc.
3. When operating, please be careful not to cover the ventilation hole with your palm or fingers.
4. If a layer of cloth is wrapped around the sandpaper surface on the grinding disc, it can be used for very fine grinding, such as polishing furniture surfaces or other fine smooth surfaces.
5. The size of the sandpaper used is just enough to divide a commonly available large sandpaper (standard size 228mm × 280mm) into three equal pieces. Please choose sandpaper with abrasive grain size that is quite suitable for the job requirements. A grit of 60 is coarse sandpaper, a grit of 100 is medium sandpaper, and a grit of 150 is fine sandpaper.
6. Pull out the clamp and pull it up slightly. Insert one end of the prepared sandpaper into the clamp, wrap the sandpaper around the grinding disc, and clamp the other end in the same way on the clamp at the other end of the grinding disc (if the sandpaper can be bent before inserting into the clamp, it will be easier to install). After clamping the sandpaper, push the clamping rod back to its original position. After installation, please check if the clamp is securely clamped. When grinding without clamping the sandpaper, uniform and complete sanding effect cannot be obtained.
